For a family gathering or a meal with colleagues, the table matters as much as the food. Serden has a front garden seating area, a ground floor with the oven and an upstairs dining room. Let us know how many people are coming and where you would prefer to sit.
What is the garden like?
Our garden is the seating area at the street-facing front of the restaurant, with an overhead cover and side screens. It is an urban outdoor space, not a large countryside garden. If you would like to sit there, ask about the layout and conditions for the day of your visit.
We also have traditional low-seating corners indoors. Tell us whether you prefer these or a table with chairs. If you are bringing a pushchair or have access requirements, please call so we can discuss a suitable place before you arrive.
How large a group can you accommodate?
The restaurant normally seats 75 people in total. With advance planning and a different arrangement, capacity can reach 100. This is the capacity of the whole restaurant, not a single table or a private room.
When you call, give us the date, time, number of adults and children, and your seating preference. We can then check availability and discuss whether your group can sit together and how the tables would be arranged.
Ordering for children and sharing sides
A portion of cağ kebabı contains two skewers. A single skewer can be ordered for a child or anyone wanting less; there is no separate children’s menu. Sliced onion, spicy ezme and pickled peppers come alongside the cağ. Salad and buffalo-milk yoghurt are ordered separately.
The ezme is spicy, and our kadayıf dolması dessert contains walnuts. Please discuss allergies or other dietary needs before ordering. We serve ayran, şalgam and soft drinks, but no alcohol.
Our menu is centred on cağ kebabı. It is worth letting everyone in the group know this beforehand, especially if some are expecting a broader choice of main courses.
Hours, payment and parking
We open every day from 12:00 to 23:00. Call +902124414157 to discuss a table. We accept cash and bank cards, but not Turkish employee meal cards.
There are parking spaces we can use around the front and rear of the building. If your group is coming in several cars, ask about availability too; these are shared spaces rather than a car park reserved for your booking.
If the meal is at your own venue
